Water Heater Repairs
No hot water or pilot trouble? We diagnose gas or electric tanks and tankless units, repair when it makes sense, and advise when replacement is the better value.
Camera Inspections
Want to know exactly what’s in your pipes? Our drain cameras pinpoint cracks, roots, and bellies so the real cause gets fixed—not just the symptom.
Quick Checks Before You Call
Run water at a second fixture
Turn on a nearby sink or tub. If only one drain is slow, it is likely a single-fixture clog. If multiple drains gurgle or a floor drain rises, the main line is restricted.
Try a hand auger or a plunger
Use a cup plunger for sinks or a flange plunger for toilets, or a 3–6 ft hand auger. Do not pour chemical cleaners. They can damage finishes and make safe service harder.
Check the toilet flapper and fill valve
If the toilet runs or has a weak flush, make sure the flapper seals and the fill valve is not stuck. Adjust the chain and water level if needed.
Verify water heater power or pilot
Confirm the breaker or switch is on for electric. For gas, check the pilot or ignition status. Make sure the temperature and pressure relief valve is not discharging.
ISOLATE THE FIXTURE SUPPLY
Turn the small valve under the sink or behind the toilet fully clockwise to shut water to that one fixture only. If the valve is seized or starts dripping, don’t force it.
Know your main shut-off
Locate the home’s main water valve beside the meter. If a leak worsens, close it to stop the flow. Follow our “How to shut off the main water valve” guide
Protection for Basements

Backwater Valve
Stop sewer water from coming back through your floor drain during storms. We size and install city-approved valves and help you with the Hamilton rebate.

Sump Pump + Battery Backup
Keep groundwater out even when the power fails. We test your pump, size the backup, and leave you with clear next steps.
Hamilton basements see two risks—sewer surges and rising groundwater. A backwater valve and a reliable sump pump with battery backup protect finishes and lower flood costs.
